I'm on the hunt for either a Ronstan 1309X or 1310RX Traveler Car for my IP420.

Rig-rite is incredibly unresponsive, and the things are discontinued and as rare as hens teeth.

Sadly yes. Still looking.

I've called and written Rig-Rite a bunch of times both as follow up and with new inquiries and have been told they dont know if they have it and will get back to me, only to never hear from them.

It's been going on for just about a year. The bearings and wheels on the old one are really shot. I feel like I'm dragging the car across the traveler if there is any load on it.

I keep trying to find a replacement, used or not, because the traveler itself is in okay shape and I would like to avoid the expense, time, and effort of replacing the whole thing. Been searching eBay and every used parts site I can find with no luck.

Bobby -

I just wrote the factory to see what they are using on the IP439. I'm also a fan of Garhauer, from my last boat, a Catalina 350. If I have still struck out by recommissioning time next spring I'll bite the bullet then.

Still chipping away at the list of to do's since buying the boat spring 2020. Making lots of progress, and know new things wlll come up as I check off old ones. Nature of the 20 yr old boat beast. Probably the 1 yr old beast too, though I'll never know.
